How to travel with your wedding dress on an Airplane
With the wedding season fast approaching, we have allot of brides getting married in hotter climates. To help with all those niggling questions about how to travel your dress safely, here are our top tips to get your dress there easily and as stress free as possible.
Contact your airline, they might not be able to make any guarantees but they may be able to give you some information about flying with a large delicate wedding dress.
Make sure your wedding gown fits your airlines carry on requirements. You don’t want to be putting your dress with the other luggage. You could get a wedding dress travel box, these are easily purchased online or another separate suitcase for your dress.
Purchase Priority Boarding, you can be the first to get the best space in the overhead luggage compartments.
Pack a portable steamer, these are small enough to go in your luggage. Your dress will no doubt need a freshen up when you get to your destination.
