Our bride Harriet's wedding story

Introducing our stunning bride Harriet. Harriet chose our beautiful Dandelion dress for her special day. We love Harriet’s story and the little details on her wedding day were just perfect! Thank you Harriet for being an amazing bride and for your gorgeous story.

We got engaged in Barcelona in February 2018 and were pretty quick to get the ball rolling when we returned home; my fiancé being a Star Wars fan had realised that the 4th of May fell not only on a Saturday, but also as part of a bank holiday weekend meaning the date was decided for us!

We looked at a few barn venues in the area and decided Grittenham Barn was perfect for us with classic oak beams and farm animals outside.

The search for my perfect dress didn't take long! As soon as I walked in to Farnham Boutique I felt relaxed chatting

to Kate and her helping me pick out a selection of dresses to try. I loved how unique they all were, the selection of lace and beading is beautiful on so many of their dresses, but I was called back time and time again to the Dandelion dress. It's full layered skirt with spots and blush colouring gave it a touch of Boho alternative style which I loved. At my final fitting I added a beaded belt which was sewn on and ready to take home the same day!

We had such a brilliant day, despite the turbulent weather! All our decorations were homemade, with giant confetti balloons provided by The Party Co in Godalming, for our main menu we had a picnic provided by Crumble Catering. Through the evening we had a 'wedding bake off' with different cakes made by the wedding party, Paella from Man with a Pan and live music from Changing Colour.

Everything was fabulous, and I just wish we could do it all again!
